WOW!!! Welcome to Infinity Flight Group :)

It has been a season of great trial (due to a personal refining that God is doing in my heart and life) coupled with great joy as I see doors swinging open wide and dreams being realized.  Tonight, I was offered the Dispatcher position at the Trenton-Mercer Airport.  According to Wikipedia, the Trenton-Mercer Airport is the 4th busiest airport in NJ.  This past week another airline joined Frontier at the T-M airport, Allegiant Air.  It is a very busy place!  The flight school that I will be working at has 15 planes, 14 instructors and 85 active students.  It is a fast-paced environment and I am looking forward to it very much.

My job is, more or less, a front desk position.  I will be scheduling flights, assisting students and flight instructors with any needs they may have, checking flights in and out and trying to promote business for the flight school when I can.  It will be a full-time position, Monday-Friday.

A huge perk to the job, for me, is that I will receive discounted flight training. From what I understand, it will be a significant savings.  I will also be able to fly either before or after my shift.  I am so thrilled about that!

I will be looking to relocate to the area so I am praying about housing and a new church home.  I have been blessed to be a part of Calvary Chapel in Silverton.  They have wrapped their arms around me and supported me since the first time I visited.   Getting to know them, especially the ladies, has been a huge blessing to me.

Well, I will keep you posted.  Check back often!  And, thanks for reading 🙂

Thank you Father!

Woohoo!!!

It happened.  My solo flight to Cape May took place today.  It was so peaceful and I felt like the Lord was guiding each step of the way.  I guess most of all I just felt blessed to be flying at all.  It is only by the grace of God, the support of SO MANY and some persistence on my end that I am flying today.  A dream is becoming a reality and one day soon, I hope to be transporting my first survivor of sex trafficking to a place of safety.  Only God knows…and my dreams are at His feet.

I was pretty happy. It was a sunny, beautiful day!

In the early 1940’s this was an active Naval Air Station. There is now a museum here. I have not yet been but would like to go sometime.

I was hoping to go into the terminal to get something from the vending machine but they were doing renovations. I will have to come back when they re-open. There is a restaurant here. Anyone want to join me for lunch? 🙂

If God Wills…

After waiting 21 days for everything to line up, I think my solo flight may actually happen tomorrow. The winds are projected to be lower tomorrow.  I need them to be under 10 kts.  Right now, they are projected to be between 7 and 15 kts along my route.  The great thing is, I have a personal relationship with the Maker of the winds so, I am confident that if it doesn’t work out, there is a good reason.  But, I look forward to being able to accomplish this flight.

For those who haven’t heard yet, I had 2 great interviews with a flight school in Ewing, NJ who is looking for a dispatcher.  More or less it is a customer service/sales position.  I am very excited about it.  It would be a huge blessing and could benefit me in many ways.   After my flight tomorrow, I was told that I could go to this flight school and shadow an employee  for this potentially new job.

I hope to find out tomorrow if the job is a good fit for both the company and myself.

So, apart from the election, there is a lot going on tomorrow.  And, whatever happens in our country and in my life, I will know that it is for my good and His glory.  God is so Good like that.  Thank you Jesus for your everlasting kindness toward us.  We are grateful.
